Juror of Awards:
John E. Garrett
We are honored to announce the Juror of Awards for our 38th Annual Juried Art Show is none other than the talented ceramist and arts educator found on the Highland Campus in Studio G, John E. Garrett. John has taught many of our youth in the community through an after-school art program, and holds private and group ceramic and music classes, also the local favorite "Wine-y Painter" classes to adults.
John E. Garrett has an extensive education in visual arts with a focus on ceramics. John studied at Grossman College, San Diego State University and at Shasta College. He brought his love for art and art’s education here to Weaverille and began working within the school district to impart his love and education on our formative youth and has continued on in his years of educating the youth and adults here in our community.
